Ziad Ahmed Abdin, age 77, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, December 15,2024 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on September 10,1947 in Hebron, Palestine to the late Ahmed Abdeen and Suad Abdeen. Ziad married Margie Wankum on March 19,1970 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Ziad lived his life with a giving spirit and unwavering dedication to his family both here and abroad. He exemplified the true meaning of unconditional love through his actions, always putting the needs of his family before his own. Though he was thousands of miles from his homeland, he was constantly surrounded by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews through video communications and could light up any room with his warm smile. He shared love through cooking, always being "on call" for his children and grandchildren, and never hesitated to express "I love you" to his family. He was a talented jeweler and entrepreneur, known for his craftsmanship and passion for work. Ziad had owned and operated a jewelry store, a construction company, a convenience store, and a beauty salon. A man of many talents where he delighted customers with his unique vision and personalized service. Beyond his professional life, Ziad was devoted to many charities that helped refugees and impoverished communities in many parts of the world. His faith was an integral part of Ziad's life, all praise be to Allah. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Muhammed Abdeen, Wael Abdeen, Mazen Abdeen, Wajdi Abdeen; two sisters, Hind Abdeen and Hala Abdeen.

Ziad is survived by his wife, Margie Abdin of the home; two sons, Sammer Abdin and his wife, Shirley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Jamal Abdin and his wife, Maria of Fayetteville, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Julian and Bella Abdin of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Shaynee, Sage and Sierra Abdin of Tulsa, Oklahoma ; sister, Sonia Abdeen and her husband, Murad of Palestine; three brothers, Hani Abdeen and his wife, Maysoon, Hatem Abdeen and his wife, Manal, Muhanad Abdeen and his wife, Zahiyah, all of Palestine.

Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, December 21,2024 at Heritage Funeral Home of Springdale , Arkansas. The interment will follow at the ISNWA Cemetery in Lowell, Arkansas.
