Wanda Lea Henington, age 89 of Springdale, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025. She was born in Forum, Arkansas, on March 21, 1936, to the late Newt and Minnie Lea (Kirt) Smith. Wanda's warm spirit and gentle demeanor will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A pillar of her family, Wanda cherished every moment with loved ones.  She created a home filled with laughter and the irresistible aroma of her legendary cooking. Wanda's recipes have passed down through generations and are a testament to her generous heart and culinary skill. She was a devoted and lifelong member of Faith Full Gospel Church in Springdale.  Wanda's unwavering faith and kind presence enriched the community for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Guy Smith, Haden Smith, Eulis Smith, and Kay Smith; five sisters, Lucy, Cleo, Trilla, Vida, and Pansy; daughter, Patsy Henington.

Wanda is survived by two daughters, Anita Bowers of Springdale and Rita Henington and husband, Eduardo Garcia of Springdale. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Wilson Cemetery with Brother Dewayne Houston officiating.
