Virginia Ann Chappell, 58, died Sunday, January 27, 2018 at her home in Springdale. She was born September 29, 1960 in Phoenix, Arizona to Earl Robert, Jr. and Shirley Jewel (Sanders) Cummings.

Virginia dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a full-time caregiver to her daughter, Jennifer, and often put the needs of family and friends above her own. She supported numerous charities throughout her life and especially focused on the care and needs of children. She enjoyed music and had a beautiful singing voice. She was an excellent cook, gardener and enjoyed being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Chappell. Virginia is survived by two children, Darla Vaughan and husband Anthony of Omaha, Nebraska, David Chappell of Springdale; two brothers, Michael Cummings and Earl Cummings; three sisters, Earlene Bascue, Cindy Scofield, Dawn Cummings; and two grandchildren, Rhiannon Sturdivant and Kannon Chappell.

A celebration of her life was held Saturday, February 2, in the fellowship hall at Faith Assembly of God .
