Vickey Ann Doss, age 69 passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on April 10, 1955 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to the late Clay Henson and his wife Kizzie (Pense) Henson and her mother, Doris McDonner. She was a skilled and devoted housekeeper at Mount Sequoyah for an impressive 21 years. Her strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail were admired by her family. Vickey was an avid reader, with a particular fondness for mystery novels. She also loved spending quality time with family and friends, often engaging in spirited games of board games or checkers. Vickey's love for music was evident in her passion for dancing, which she shared with her children by teaching them the two-step and line dancing. Many cherished memories were made on the living room dance floor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robbie Doss; brother, Wallace "Peewee" Henson.

Vickey is survived by her three daughters, Becky Sylvester and her husband Shayne, Tracy Ball and Sheila Ball and her husband Dewayne all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; son in-law, Jay Ball of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Dillon Thompson and his wife Katelyn of Greenland, Arkansas, Brianna Sylvester, Sid Sylvester both of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Whitney Thompson of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Weston Thompson, Emmalee Ball, Hunter Ball of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Lydia Robins of Lincoln, Arkansas; four great grandchildren, Scarlett Thompson, Paytyn Littrell, Layne Thompson and Daxton Evans; five brothers, William "Smokey" Henson and his wife Bobbie, Wallace "Wally" McDonner all of Farmington, Arkansas, Jim McDonner and his wife Joy of Centerton, Arkansas, Ronnie McDonner of Missouri and Ted "Teddy" McDonner of Springdale, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Lightner officiating the service. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, Arkansas where Lance Weeks will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jay Ball, Dewayne Ball, Shayne Sylvester, Dillon Thompson, Weston Thompson and Jonny Surber.
