Steven Eugene Brown, 66, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on October 26, 2026, at Northwest Medical Center. Born July 26, 1960, in Topeka, Kansas, to M.C. Brown and Martha (Puckett) Brown, Steve spent most of his life in the Springdale area. He married Rhonda (Wright) Brown on July 27, 1979, and they shared nearly 50 years together. 

Steve worked as an HVAC-R technician. Outside of work he was a lifelong tinkerer and true jack-of-all-trades with a hands-on approach to nearly everything he touched. An NRA member who loved the outdoors, he also devoted years to refereeing soccer, finding genuine joy in the game and the people around it. He built his own sheds, melted his own lead for casting projects, kept motorcycles running, and spent countless hours in the woodshop. Friends and family knew that if something needed fixing, building, or figuring out, Steven was the one who would roll up his sleeves and get it done. 

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Brown of Springdale; his children, Michael Brown and wife Ember of Springdale, and Karen Gibson and husband Nathanael of Springdale; his brothers, Cliff Brown, Greg Brown, Rick Brown, and Thad Brown, all from the Northwest Arkansas area; and his grandchildren, Kaili Gibson, Sofia Gibson, Cameron Gibson, and Christopher Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents.
