Sondra Lee Payne, 75, of Rogers, died Sunday, January 12, 2020 at her home. She was born November 29, 1944 in Los Angeles, California. Sondra faithfully served the Children's Ministry at Charity Baptist Church for many years and was a counselor with Celebrate Recovery. She was passionate about her faith. She was a fantastic salesperson throughout her life working primarily in car sales. She loved family gatherings and holidays especially time with her grandchildren.

Sondra married Robert Payne on December 11, 1970, and together had just celebrated their 49 ^th anniversary. In addition to her husband she is also survived by two daughters, Elisa Comer and husband Chris, Mandy Payne; three step-chidlren, Sherry Hester, Rick Payne and wife Marsha, Larry Payne; four brothers, Tim Nichols, Cecil Keene, Albert Keene, Angelo Keene; two sisters, Pam Robb, Debbie Robbins; and several grandchildren including Chase Evans, Jordan Payne, Andrew Payne, Cachae Payne, Trent Payne and Presleigh Gittins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hulda Pauline "Penny" (Nichols) Strohfeld, and a brother, Lance Keene.

A celebration of Sondra's life will be 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, at Charity Baptist Church in Rogers. Memorial contributions may be made to the church to benefit the children's programs.
