Shirley Aleene Henson, age 74 of Winslow, died Thursday, May 19, 2022. She was born August 17, 1947 in Sunset, Arkansas to Add Ancil and Velda Lee (Nobles) Christison.  Shirley was a loving mother and doting grandmother, and enjoyed sewing.  She also loved her congregation at Blackburn Covenant Church where she started a thrift store.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Henson, and two brothers, Mark Christison and Max Nobles.  She is survived by two children, Adean Henson and Tabetha Slaton and husband Rodney all of Winslow, grandsons, Blake Henson and Ryan Slaton; one great granddaughter and a host of extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 27, at the Blackburn Covenant Church with Pastor Marsha Cooley officiating.
