Sandra Jean Burton, age 65, of Winslow, died Thursday, December 23, 2021. She was born October 9, 1956, in Bainbridge, New York. Sandra retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 as a Safety Craftsman. She volunteered daily at the local Meals Program serving her community. She was a great friend, a loving mother and wife, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by four daughters, Jennifer Pense and husband Joshua, Jessica Cope and husband Seth, Carol Howay and husband Brian, Kristy Burton and husband Eric Deaver; two brothers, Russell Heesh and James Barre; and eight grandchildren, Austin, Brooke, Christopher, Asher, Ender, Logan, Ezariah, and Elijah.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Earl Burton, and her parents, Harold and Marlene Heesh.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, at the funeral home. A graveside service will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 28, at Fayetteville National Cemetery with full military honors. The service for her husband, Clifford, will immediately follow.
