Ross Jacob Tharp, 33, of Springdale, died Saturday, June 8, 2019. He was born December 1, 1985 in Eufaula, Oklahoma, and grew up in Decatur. Ross played football in high school and enjoyed hunting, fishing and canoeing. He served in the Army National Guard and loved his country. He loved to drink his Mountain Dew, but above all was devoted to his wife and children and was a solid rock to his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Robin, and their children, Kaylee, Haylee, Cynthia and Jacob, all of Springdale; his parents, Bob and Joy Tharp of Decatur; two brothers, C.J. Tharp and partner Aaron of Tucson, Arizona, Forrest Tharp and wife Jessica and their five children of Bella Vista; mother-in-law, Shelia Taggart; sister-in-law, Debbie Roberts; brothers-in-law, George Taggart, Jr. and Randy Taggart; mentor and dear friends, Paul and Barbara Jones; and a host of other dear family and friends.

Services were Thursday, June 13, at Sonora Cemetery .
