Ronnie Lee Waddill, 71, of Prairie Grove, died Tuesday, November 6, at Regency Hospital in Springdale. Ronnie was born August 21, 1947, to Norman Franklin and Vada Viola Masters Waddill in Newport. He was a Vietnam veteran and enjoyed meeting weekly with a group of fellow veterans after his service. He enjoyed playing golf and his weekly meeting with his coffee group. Ronnie was devoted to his family, his church, and he never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by two brothers; Robert Waddill and Norman Dale "Buddy" Waddill.

He is survived by his brother, Carl Eugene Waddill of Prairie Grove; two sisters, Joan Helms of Little Rock and Catherine Harris of Newport; eight nieces and nephews, Lana Holt, Franklin Harris, Carla Huggins, Stephanie Beatty, James Waddill, Brian Waddill, Karey Simmons, and Kelly Bishop; and many great-nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, November 13, at Farmington Church of Christ followed by interment with military honors at Fayetteville National Cemetery .
