Paula Jeannette Johnson, 67, of Springdale, died Thursday, January 13, 2022. She was born August 10, 1954 in Pomona, California to Vernon John and Jeannette (Stromberg) Lisle. Paula was a high school math teacher for many years. She enjoyed talking politics and was a member of the Washington County Republican women where she served as president. She was also a huge Razorback and Lord of the Rings fan, and loved cats. Above all Paula was a Christian and loved serving her church in various capacities including playing the organ, trumpet and singing.

She is survived by her four children, Sarah Martinez and husband Jesus, Jr., William Johnson and wife Michele, Catherine Johnson, Jeannette Johnson; two brothers, Homer Lisle and wife Judy, Dwight Lisle and wife Marietta; five grandchildren, Angelica Janisieski and husband Alexander, Jesus Martinez, III and wife Kimberly, Daniela Martinez, Kyrie Johnson, Letty Johnson; one great-granddaughter, Sterling Janisieski; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paula was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Johnson in 2020, and three brothers, John Lisle, David Lisle and Oscar Lisle.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Mission Boulevard Baptist Church .  The ceremony will be live-streamed here .  Memorial contributions in honor of her son-in-law may be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation .
