Patsy Sue Walters, age 88, passed away in Rogers, Arkansas on May 30, 2025. She was born in Mount Judea, Arkansas on January 23, 1937 to late Jeffery and Flora (Morris) Duck. Her roots were in Arkansas, but she spent the majority of her life in California, only returning to her home state a few years before she passed.

A devoted Christian woman, she cherished her family, finding immense joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her loyalty as a friend was unwavering, and she found simple pleasures in life: movies with popcorn & candy, her favorite Starbucks white chocolate mocha, and her cherished In-N-Out Burger. For thirty-five years, she was a dedicated employee of McDonnell Douglas Aircraft, a testament to her steadfast nature. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Maddox and sister, Betty Carter.

She is survived by a son, Donn and his wife Carrie Maddox of Mariposa, California; daughter, Traci and her husband Daniel Shafer of Elm Springs, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Brittany Lindvall, Stephen Shafer, Sarah Maddox, Rebekah Palomino, Ruth Light, Joelle Shafer, Mark Maddox and Anna Magana; seventeen great grandchildren and a host of extended family.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. on June 15, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church of Rogers, Arkansas with Harrison Smith officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home.
