Nuna Nashion age 64 of Fayetteville passed away April 10, 2026 at Washington Regional Hospital.  She was born on October 21, 1961 in Jaluit, Marshall Island to Konna and Jibbwa Clanton.  Nuna was a very caring and loving person who was respected in the Marshall Island community.  She loved making handcrafted necklaces and sewing.  Nuna worked at the University of Arkansas as a cook.  She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Mary Saul; three brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by six children, Susen Kare (Nelma), Rodney Nashon, Nessey Nashion, Lenny Nashion (Clement), Langlong Nashion (Jepwe) and Clanton Nashion; two siblings, Herna Clanton and Clenna Clanton; forty-two grandchildren.

Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 8, 2026.  Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home (479)751-2444.
