Melvin Ray Cotton age 56 of Elkins passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.  He was born on June 11, 1969 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Donald  Melvin Cotton and Rose Coker.  Melvin loved being outdoors.  He spent his free time fishing and listening to country music.  Melvin was preceded in death by is father, Melvin Cotton and sister, Debra Brown..

He is survived by mother, Rose Coker; son, Waylon Cotton; sister, Mary Cook; three grandchildren, Logan Cotton, Preston Ward and Brayden Rampley.
