Matlina Keju, age 44 passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in Seattle, Washington. She was born on January 10, 1980 in Namdrik, Marshall Islands. She married Jim Keju and was a proud homemaker. Matlina was devoted to her church family and her Marshallese community. She had the spirit of a giving heart and will be missed by her family.

Matlina is survived by her mother, Risi Koike; her loving husband, Jim Keju; four children, Joni Atrine Keju, Elizabeth Lirato Keju, Nehemiah Lajikit Keju and Naji Keju; her siblings, Kathy Rang, Takako Langbel, Victor Kioke, Tatsu Koike, Nichole Bunglick and Daisy Wiltrout; a host of her family members and friends.

Funeral services will begin 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2024 at First Marshallese Full Gospel Church, 1799 Butterfield Coach Rd, Springdale, Arkansas. Graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction and care of Heritage Funeral Home of Springdale, Arkansas.
