Mary Ernestine Gibbs, age 66, died on October 15, 2023 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born in Ozark, Arkansas on July 4, 1957 to Earnest and Bonnie (Thomas) Moffett. She graduated from Fayetteville High School. She then attended the University of Arkansas, where she graduated with a degree in nursing and specialized in cardiac care. Her first job as an RN was in Dallas, TX and then later took a job in Hawaii. She moved back to Arkansas where she married and had two children. She loved to travel and her most fulfilling job in life was being a mother to her two sons.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Moffett, three brothers, Tom, Steve and Andy Moffett. Mary is survived by her mother, Bonnie (Moffett) Thomas; two sons, Trace and Zane Gibbs both of Springdale; one brother, Mike Moffett of Fayetteville; two sisters, Judy & Rex Worthington of Fayetteville, Marilyn & Mark Willey of Springdale; four nephews, Chris & Marsha Moffett, David Moffett, Julian Moffett, Matt & Elizabeth Willey, with a host of extended family.

Memorial Mass with Rosary. Rosary will start at 10:00am with Mass to follow at 10:30am, Friday, October 20, 2023 at St Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown, Arkansas.

Memorial Services 2:00pm, Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Heritage Funeral Home of Springdale.
