Mary Lee Ellenbarger, age 91, died Sunday, July 9, 2023 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born April 17, 1932 in War Eagle, Arkansas to the late Jess and Henrietta (Boyer) Ingraham.

Mary was raised and lived in Nob Hill. She married Kenneth Ellenbarger on March 21, 1955. They had two children, Carolyn and Richard, who they loved big. Kenneth and Mary both worked hard and lived a good, happy life together until his passing on March 21, 2006. She missed "Pap" dearly and reminisced of their times together often. Mary would visit his graveside in Sonora almost daily and leave him some kind of trinket or flowers. Her family all lived close by. She was very involved in everyone's life. If there was any kind of school function, event or gathering, Mary would be there. If there was food, that was a plus. She like to talk to each and every one of her family daily. It might just be a minute conversation, but you could guarantee a daily phone call. Mary could not sit still. She was always on the go, doing something. Mary enjoyed driving and taking rides. She would sing or hum a church hymn along the way. Mary loved a good "rag store". She thrifted daily, and always found something for the grandkids. She enjoyed eating a good meal with family. Mary loved going out to eat but she didn't like long wait times, so her favorite was the Golden Corral. She was loved more than she could have ever known by all of her family and none of us will be the same with her gone.

Mary is preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Ellenbarger; son, Richard Ellenbarger; brothers, Kenneth Ingraham and Gene Ingraham; sister, Jessie Lynch.

She is survived by daughter, Carolyn Bowen of Sonora, Arkansas; one cherished sister, Ruth Bowen of Springdale, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Candy Martin, Kimmy Bowen, Ricky Bowen, Robby Bowen, John Ellenbarger, Justin Ellenbarger; nine great grandchildren, Cayenna Gaither, Creed Evans, Daelin Fullerton, John Deere Ellenbarger, Wesson Ellenbarger, Kason Ellenbarger, Jayce Karter, Jackson Dunn, Jaylynn Dunn; two great-great grandchildren, Amara Gaither, Paisleigh Evans; three special cousins, Brenda Morrison, Dorothy Douthit, Wanda Bone and a host of extended family.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Heritage Funeral Home of Springdale, Arkansas with burial to follow at Sonora Cemetery in Sonora, Arkansas.
