Marqueita "Marty" Louise Taldo, age 88 of Springdale, passed away on September 2, 2023 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on January 30, 1935 in Parsons, Kansas to the late Thomas Blair and Mary (Shannon) Blair. She graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Parsons, Kansas. On April 4,1959 Marty married Vernon Taldo in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Marty enjoyed theater and was musically gifted by playing several different instruments. She owned and operated Marty Taldo's School of Dance in Springdale.  She was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. She served as the choir director for over fifty years where she enjoyed using her musical gifts and loved her church and choir members. Marty was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters, Billy Jean Adamski and Jackie Adamski.

Marty is survived by three children, Diana (Jerry) Bratcher of Tontitown, Judy (Gary) Harris of Fayetteville, and Terry (Diana) Taldo of Tontitown; five grandchildren, Lauren Harris, Tyler (Katie) Harris all of Springdale, Blake Bratcher of Salt Lake City, Utah, Spencer Bratcher and Addison Taldo, both of Fayetteville; two great grandchildren, Jax and Shay Harris; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Dan Dailey. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Salvador Marquez-Munoz officiating. The interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Tontitown. Pallbearers will be Tyler Harris, Blake Bratcher, Spencer Bratcher, Rick Brunetti, Mike Franco and Mike Zulpo.
