Marie Lookingbill, 88, of Springdale, died Sunday, May 16, 2021.  She was born May 1, 1933 in Bayfield, Colorado to Jacob Holland and Florence Edna (Landreth) Miller.

Marie taught science at Central Junior High School for 35 years and was longtime member of Elmdale Baptist Church.  She volunteered at the church's library and the Northwest Medical Center Auxiliary.  She was also an active member of Campers on Mission, Friends of Devils' Den, Caring Ministries and Camp Siloam (Arkansas Baptist Assembly).  Marie enjoyed reading and traveling.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, James "Luke" Lookingbill in 2015, and by three brothers and one sister.  She is survived by two daughters, Theresa Blevins and husband Tony, Sherry Graves and husband Dan, all of Springdale; one grandson, Samuel James Graves, also of Springdale; and five sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Elmdale Baptist Church .  Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery .  Visitation will 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home, online obituary at heritageofnwa.com.
