Loyd Scott Test, age 90, of Springdale died on March 4, 2023 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on March 2, 1933 in Brush Creek, Arkansas to the late Hiram A. and Maggie (Lowe) Test. He graduated from Springdale High School in 1951. Loyd worked in the canning industry for the Steele Company and Allen Canning Company. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.  After retirement Loyd volunteered for 20 years at the VA hospital. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Scott Test; grandson, Brent Michael Test; brothers, Hiram A. Test Jr., Clement Test; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Keeney, Martha Gaddis.

Loyd is survived by his wife, Connie (Wilcox) Test of Springdale, Arkansas; two stepsons, Doug Martens of Springdale, Arkansas, Joe Bariola of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Brandi Test, Tiffany Hill, Bryn (Martens) Taylor; three great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family.

Visitation 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8,2023 at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 9,2023 at Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas with Pastor Charlie Foster officiating. Interrment will follow service at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas with Military Honors.
