IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Loren Dean
Welton
August 16, 1934 – August 18, 2022
Loren Dean Welton, age 88, died on August 18, 2022, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on 16 August 1934, in Grove City, Pennsylvania to Charles Eugene and Marguerite Fidela (Baker) Welton. Loren Dean grew up on a family Dairy Farm surrounded by family. He entered the US Air Force in 1952 where he finished basic training and completed initial training in Aviation Electronics. His Active-Duty Assignment was in Japan until his discharge in 1956. He married and moved to Georgia where he worked as a mechanic. He accelerated in the mechanics field while taking classes & certifications which led to owning several businesses over his lifetime. His second career, after an injury to his back, led him to train and master work as a jeweler. His love was creating native American styles using silver and turquoise. His research with tribe members gave him the understanding he needed to design and create pieces that carried specific meanings. Several of his creations were taken back to tribe leaders for their inspection and approval. He had a passion and gift when it came to musical instruments, oil painting and drawing. His love of playing the bass guitar led to playing with top named singers in the 1970's. His eye for drawing and painting helped express who he was and wanted to become. Some of his entries in contests over the past 10 years took blue ribbons and honorable mentions. The passion he had for studying the bible and learning as much as he could to apply it to everyday life was consistent. His love for our savior and creator was endless. His family knows that in the early morning hours angels were there to take him from his earthly body and ascend to heaven for eternity.
"Your fight here on earth is done, until we see you again."
