Lonnie F. Fritz, age 92 passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on August 10, 1931 in Clayton, New Mexico to the late Luther Fritz and Flossie Mae (Pancake) Fritz. He married his high school sweetheart, Jackie Dean McCamey, in August 1950 and the two shared almost 74 years of married life. Lonnie was a kind and gentle soul and lived in New Mexico until the limitations of age brought him to Arkansas to live with family.

Deeply rooted in his faith, he was a longtime, dedicated member of the Belen New Mexico Nazarene church. His commitment extended beyond the congregation as he passionately led Bible studies for incarcerated individuals and participated in local missionary work. A skilled bookkeeper, Lonnie spent his professional life with ABF Trucking before enjoying a well-deserved retirement. Outdoors, he found solace and adventure in hunting and fishing, while his greatest joy came from cherished moments with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, John Fritz; granddaughter, Erin Fritz and brother, John Fritz.

Lonnie is survived by his wife, Jackie D. Fritz; two daughters, Carol and her husband Eddie Kirchhof of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Nancy and her husband Mike Robinson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a daughter-in-law, Valerie Fritz; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and a host of extended family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 22, 2024 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Springdale, Arkansas. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 9, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
