Linda Lou Suarez, age 81 of Springdale, died Friday, April 15, 2022 at her home.  She was born May 6, 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Earl Larue and Helen Mae (Maze) Wainscott.  Linda loved fishing, going to the casino, and in her earlier years, bowling.  She enjoyed making ceramic art pieces and operated a ceramics store for a time.  She also liked to watch cooking shows and was a very good cook herself.  Linda retired from Cargill and she supported her former husband as a military wife for 30 years.

She is survived by three children, Barbara A. Suarez, Mary-Helen Andreadis, Ray Earl Suarez; two sisters, Margaret Brown of Marble Hill, Missouri, Patricia Martinez of Caseyville, Illinois; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Linda was preceded in death by an infant son, Amalio R. Suarez, Jr.; a grandson, Sean Suarez; and one brother, Richard Wainscott.

Visitation will begin at 12 noon followed with a funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.  A graveside committal service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, Illinois.
