"What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments but what is woven into the lives of others."
Letter written by Connal Truluck, Lee's grandson.
I not only lost a grandfather but a dad and a best friend. The person I could always rely on in hard times and talk about sports, school and girls. Anything. No judgement came from him. He lived a life full of experiences that he loved to share with me and I loved to listen. He was the hardest working man I know. He taught me everything I know when it comes to being a man and treating women right. He always said "don't waste a tear on me I'm not worth it" but he's worth every tear. I will forever miss him and I wish I had just one more minute to hear his old stories. He loved to say "I'll teach you everything I know and you'll still know nothing." I didn't understand it when I was younger, but I do now. I love you grandpa. You were everything to me. I hope I get to see you again soon. Love you.
