Lawrence "Larry" E. Creel age 82 of Springdale passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 at his home.  He was born on June 11,1942 in Memphis, Tennessee to Jewel Counts and O. Lee Creel.  While attending Gould High School, Larry met the love of his life, Linda K. Wallace.  They married on June 11,1961 in Gould, Arkansas.    Larry attended the Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.  He is preceded in death by parents, Jewel and O. Lee Creel; sister, Joyce Rogers and husband, John Rogers.

Larry served three years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict.   After his time in the navy, Larry worked as a counselor and assistant principal at Springdale High School.  In 2002, Larry enlisted with the Arkansas Army National Guard, where he spent twenty years as a career counselor.

He is survived by wife, Linda K. Creel; daughters, Leasha Creel Hulsey and husband, Jerry of Gentry and Lesleigh Creel of Rogers; grandson, Ryan Tucker and wife, Chelsea of Lowell; granddaughter, Tiffany Graham and husband, Joel of Kansas City, Kansas; two great grandchildren, Graham Scott Tucker and Lucy Ruth Tucker; numerous nieces and nephews.
