IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kimberly June
Crosby
March 2, 1956 – September 22, 2025
Kimberly June Crosby, age 69, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 22, 2025. Her story began on March 2, 1956, in Blytheville, Arkansas. Kim was born to the late Harold and Eva (Ellis) Hodge. She spent a brief period in Southern California before Arkansas became her forever home. She was a proud Blytheville High School graduate. Kim cherished her 46-year marriage to her husband, Benjamin L. Crosby, a marriage that was built on quiet affection, steady support and years of shared adventures. Kim spent many years working in the surgery department at Chickasawba Hospital in Blytheville. After moving to Fayetteville, Kim worked at the University of Arkansas and North Hills Surgery Center where she never met a stranger. She had a beautiful way of telling stories to the people she encountered that often made them feel as if they were old friends. Those who knew Kim will remember her for simple joys in life like a cold Dr Pepper on a southern summer day, the thrill of finding a great bargain on a shopping trip, or the anticipation of a family trip to Destin for seafood and time spent with toes in the sand.
She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Frank and Jeanie Ellis; grandparents, John and Ressie Ellis; father-in-law, Ben Crosby; many other cherished family and friends.
Kim is survived by her loving husband, Benjamin L. Crosby; son, Marc Crosby and wife, Jennifer of Rogers, Arkansas; grandchildren, Eleanor, Sophie and Kate who called her Gigi; mother-in-law, LuVerne Crosby of Anderson, Missouri.
Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2025 at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville Arkansas. Donations can be made in her honor to the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, a place that brought Kim and her family comfort and support.
