Kenneth Green, 80, of Tontitown, Arkansas, died October 6, 2026, at Freeman Health in Springdale, Arkansas.
He was born September 16, 1946, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Johnnie Green and Josephine (Bariola) Green. A lifelong resident of the Tontitown area, he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and of the Knights of Columbus for 62 years. He served in the United States Army and later worked more than 40 years as a dispatcher for Allen Canning. He also served on the Tontitown City Council.He enjoyed hunting and fishing, cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks, and building Purple Martin houses for himself and others. Kenneth was known as a dedicated and loyal employee, rarely missing a day of work.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris (Pianalto) Green; one son, Stephen Green and wife Rebecca, of Tontitown; one brother, William (Bill) Green and wife Marty, of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Sondra McCurdy and husband Tom, of Minnesota; and two grandchildren, Gibson Green and Harper Green. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Johnnie J. Green.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown, with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown, with Father Bala officiating. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Tontitown.
Pallbearers will be Johnnie Green Jr., Robert Green, Justin Green, Ryan Pianalto, Clint Pianalto, and Justin Pianalto. Honorary pallbearers will be Gibson Green and Harper Green.
