Kenneth "Ken" E. Watkins, age 100, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 18, 2025 in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born on May 6, 2025 in Japton, Arkansas to the late Benjamin and Pearl (Kisor) Watkins.  On August 13, 1945 Ken married Imogene Hutcheson. His love for his family was boundless, and he cherished every moment with them. As a talented mason, Ken had a gift of taking an "ole pile of rocks" and creating something pretty and yet useful. When he wasn't writing poetry or crafting beautiful birdhouses, you could find him immersed in nature, indulging in his passions for hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a devoted man who lived his life according to his faith. Ken was a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Imogene Watkins; three sons, Kenny Watkins, Jr., Eddie Watkins and Benny Watkins; four brothers, Roland Watkins, Keith Watkins, Dick Watkins and Don Watkins; three sisters, Betty Scott, Leta Ball and Verda Guinn.

Ken is survived by two daughters, Linda Whitman of Springdale, Arkansas Brenda Lee and her husband, Doug of West Fork, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren, Chris Watkins, Lynette Zimmerman and her husband Cliff, Gina Padgett and her husband Martin, Anthony Frabasilio, Aaron Watkins and his wife Mindy, Erick Watkins and his wife April, Jesse Yaun, Amber Drye and her husband Thomas, Isaac Yaun and his wife Megan, Crystal Lee and Doug G. Lee; twenty great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025 at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ in Springdale with Keith Kilmer officiating. Interment to follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas.
