Kendra Lynece Franklin, age 41 of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, June 15, 2026 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 12, 1984 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Roger Kendall and Tamara Morse Phillips. Kendra graduated from Greenland High School in 2002 where she was a member of the 2002 Girls State High School Basketball team. She continued her basketball career where she played college basketball at Harding University and Delta State University. In 2008, Kendra graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Business Administration Degree. She was employed with the Bank of Fayetteville. Kendra attended Grace Evangel Church in Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her son, Ryan Franklin in 2010; maternal grandparents, Thell and Beatrice Morse; paternal grandparents, Roger and June Phillips Sr.

Kendra is survived by her parents, Roger and Tamara Phillips Jr. of Fayetteville; sister, Tiffany Jenece Phillips of Fayetteville; brother, Ross Phillips and his wife, Courtney of Cave Springs; nephew, Reagan Phillips and niece, Elena Phillips, both of Cave Springs; two uncles, Rick Phillips and his wife, Thelma of Fayetteville, Ronald Morse and his wife, Diane of Alma; three aunts, Cathy Stone and her husband, Fred of Rogers, Thelma Pointer and her husband, Harold of Alma and Wilma Messer and her husband, Walt of Kingman, AZ.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2026 at Living Faith Church in Fayetteville with Roger Phillips Jr., Ross Phillips and Tiffany Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Alan Barton, Clay Reeves, Robert Luningham, Kevin Froud, Darrell Froud and Danny Rock. Honorary pallbearers will be Glendal Barker, Rodney Barker and Garry Kingrey. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home of Springdale.
