Julie Anne Kalinowski (“Blondie”, “Jewels”), of Gravette, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 11, 2026, at the age of 60.

Julie was born on December 16, 1965, in Los Angeles, California. She would move to the Commerce City, CO area where she met Russell Killen and they would marry. Julie gave birth to three kids, Lisa, Kiersten, and Jonathan. Later in life, Julie would meet and marry Bruce Kalinowski.

Julie lived a life full of laughter, compassion, and love for those around her. She was the kind of person who could light up any room. Whether she was dancing, telling jokes, or simply sharing a smile, Julie had a gift for making people feel welcome and appreciated. She was known for her caring heart and her willingness to listen to anyone who needed a friend. She treasured spending time with her friends and family, creating memories filled with laughter that will be cherished forever.

Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Nelda Fonner; her daughter, Kiersten Jones; the father of her children, Russell Killen; and her sister, Lorinda Majors. Her sister, Roberta Beck, passed away shortly after Julie.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Lisa Garcia (Killen); her son, Jonathan Killen; and her cherished grandchildren, Jhonatan Garcia (“Baby J”), Victoria Garcia (“Chica”), and Christian Garcia (“Smiley”), the loving nicknames she gave each of them reflecting the special bond they shared. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Hill of Arkansas; her brother, Terry Fonner of Colorado; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched in countless ways.

Julie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, infectious laugh, generous heart, and unwavering compassion. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together, lift their spirits, and remind them that they were never alone. Her love, kindness, and joyful presence will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
