Joyce "Darlene" Satterfield passed away at the age 60, on August 22, 2022 in Springdale, Arkansas surrounded by her family. She was born on January 28, 1962, in Springdale, Arkansas, to Alvin and Alta (Sisco) Madewell. After graduating from Springdale High School, Darlene married her high school sweetheart, Rick. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed their two children: Amanda and Eric. Darlene loved to read, cook for her family, and often enjoyed a good game of cards. In recent years, her favorite pastime was playing with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, Rick Satterfield, and a sister Bernice Schatz.

She is survived by her son, Eric Satterfield of Springdale; daughter, Amanda and her husband Daniel Worthy of Cave Springs; brother, Wayne Madewell of Cave Springs; sister, Emele Madewell of Dry Fork, Rose and her husband Richard Smith of Springdale, Connie Higbee of Bentonville; grandchildren Lillian and Hunter Worthy, with numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately by family.
