John Eugene Thielemier, 60, of Fayeteville, died Sunday, November 8, 2020. He was born October 27, 1960, in Pocahontas to Robert and Mary Walker Thielemier. John was a loving foster parent and a local leader for the Boy Scouts of America. He loved the outdoors and often enjoyed hunting, raising livestock, and gardening.

John is survived by one son, David Thielemier of Fayetteville; his mother, Mary Thielemier of Pocahontas; two brothers, Phillip Thielemier and wife Karla of Pea Ridge and Henry Thielemier of Paragould; his mother-in-law, Jeanne Davis of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Diane Thielemier; his father, Robert Thielemier; and his father-in-law, Robert Davis.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Susan G. Komen Foundation .

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, November 12, at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
