John Dean Mitchell of Pea Ridge, Arkansas passed away on March 23, 2026, at his home. J.D. was born on December 28th, 1987 in Osborne, Kansas to Kirk and Joyce Mitchell (Clark). The family would move to the Northwest Arkansas area when he was two years old. J.D. graduated from Springdale High School in May of 2006.

J.D. met his wife Brittany Mitchell (Carter/Weathers), and they were married in June of 2008. Shortly after, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. J.D. and Brittany parted ways but finally found their way back to each other. They would be married again on their property in Pea Ridge, Arkansas on April 27, 2024. They raised two children together, Chloie and Remington.

J.D. was a fun loving goofball who above everything loved being a dad. He also loved spending time with his friends/family, being outside, riding motorcycles, tinkering on cars, kayaking, playing video games, listening to music, watching cartoons, and DIY projects with Brittany. His family deemed him a bit of a packrat, as well. He was the kind of person you always knew you could count on. He had the kindest heart and warmest hugs ever. J.D. Took so much pride in everything he did and was looked up to and loved by so many.

J.D. was preceded in death by his father Kirk Mitchell; grandfathers Doyle Mitchell and Robert Clark; and grandmother Lola Mitchell.

J.D. is survived by his wife Brittany Mitchell; one daughter, Chloie Mitchell; one son, Remington Mitchell; his mother, Joyce Clark; one brother, Clark Mitchell and his wife Stacy of Tennessee, one grandmother, Diana Clark of Kansas; father and mother in-law, Mike and Diane Carter of Rogers, Arkansas; and one niece, Kaylee Mitchell.

A celebration of life will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale Arkansas. Clark Mitchell and Shae Clark will be the eulogist.
