IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jimmie Dale
Kellogg
February 17, 1949 – October 21, 2025
Jimmie Dale Kellogg, known simply as Dale to his many friends and as Dad and Grandpa to those who loved him most, passed peacefully on October 21, 2025, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born on February 17, 1949, to Andrew Roy Kellogg and Eva Ella Hawkings. Dale grew up with a deep curiosity and a natural gift for understanding how things worked. In 1967, he graduated from McClellan High School. In 1972 Dale earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas at Monticello graduating Magna Cum Laude.
A devoted man of faith, Dale was a proud member of Cross Church (formerly First Baptist Church) in Springdale for more than 40 years. He found not only his spiritual home but also lasting friendships through countless bible study groups and fellowship circles.
Dale had a teacher's heart and a student's spirit. Whether it was through photography, cooking, or exploring new ideas, Dale enjoyed learning and sharing knowledge with others. His family fondly remembers his boundless curiosity, his gentle wisdom, his amazing bread, buzzard's breath chili, and his quiet encouragement to never stop seeking and growing. Dale is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife of 34 years, Jane Kellogg and son, Scott Richey.
He is lovingly remembered by his brother, Glenn Kellogg; his children, John Kellogg and wife, Tanya Torniali, Brent Richey and wife, Tonya, and Terri Bianca and husband, Joel. His legacy continues through a cherished circle of grandchildren, Gabriel Kellogg; Ayla Richey and fiancé, Colton Schremmer; Peytin Richey and Skyllar Richey; Grey Bianca and fiancé, Ashley Jesina; Alex Bianca; Alexanderia Barens and husband, Travis; Dustin Hammons and wife, Tawny; along with several beloved great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life honoring Dale will be 11:00 a.m. November 3, 2025, at Cross Church Chapel in Springdale. Lunch and fellowship will follow in the parlor, just as Dale would have wanted, surrounded by love, laughter, and good company. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those attending bring a favorite recipe card or a dish for the shared meal. For those unable to attend, memorial donations may be made to Hope Cancer Resources in honor of Dale and Jane Kellogg.
