Jerry Lee Baker, age 84, died on Thursday, May 25, 2023 in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born on March 12, 1939 in St. Paul, Arkansas to the late Frank and Mary (Davis) Baker. Jerry graduated from Springdale High School in 1957. He attended the University of Arkansas where he graduated with a BSBA in June of 1961. He was employed with the Social Security Administration in Fayetteville, Arkansas, retiring after 33 years of service. Jerry drove a school bus for the Springdale School System for 9 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ since he was 15 years old and served as an Elder at Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale, Arkansas. Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife, Carrie Mae (McFadden) Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Jane (Allen) Carrell – Baker; daughter, Pamela and her husband, Michael Roach of Huntsville, Arkansas; son, Thomas and his wife, Carolyn Baker of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Anna and her husband, Brook Reinoehl of Carbon, Indiana; brother, Ron and his wife, Brenda Baker of Springdale, Arkansas; step-daughter, Christina Raley of Owasso, Oklahoma; step-son, Chris and wife Teresa Carrell of Weatherford, TX; step-daughter, Melissa and her husband, Neil Nugent of College Station,Texas; daughter in-law, Amanda Baker-Vaughan of Dimmitt, Texas; seven grandsons, Justin and his wife, Stephanie Roach, Jonathan and his wife, Jessica Roach, Jordan Roach, Christian Baker, Steven, Alex, Isaac and his wife Abigail,Peyton Reinoehl; two granddaughters, Holli and her husband, Adam Ramirez, Emma Reinoehl; two step-grandsons, Tyler Raley, and Conner Carrell; four step granddaughters, Kayla and her husband, Zach Riggs, Ashlee and Ellaina Carrell, Macy and Brooke Nugent. five great grandchildren, Noah and Ripley Roach, Blaire and Brooke Ramirez, and one on the way.

Visitation will be from 10:00 until 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Pleasant Street Church of Christ in Springdale, Arkansas Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Larry Branum and Nathan Wilkerson officiating. Keynote speakers will be Brook Reinoehl and Scott Gage, along other family members. The song leader will be Dean Corder. Interment will follow at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas.
