A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale, Arkansas for Jeffery Glen Shields, 62, who passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his home in Springdale, Arkansas.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Jonathon Shields and his wife Sheena and their children Kambria and Saylor, and Joshua Shields; two daughters, Victoria and her husband Todd Cogan and Xochitl Shields.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 8 years, Carolina Hernandez Shields; his mother, Barbara Gollihur Shields, two brothers David Shields and Michael Schumacher.

Jeffery Glen Shields was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend. He was born in East Chicago, Indiana in October of 1958. Jeffery proudly served as a Louisiana State Trooper, a U.S. Border Patrol Agent and Homeland Security.  Jeffery was a well-loved and kind person, had an exemplary work ethic and was truly a family man.  He will be dearly missed.
