Jeban Riklon, age 72 passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on August 27, 1952, in Ebadon, Kwajalein, Marshall Islands to the late Atlon and Bweian Riklon. He was a man of many passions. Jeban found great joy in life's simple pleasures, such as fishing and playing chess. His adventurous spirit led him to explore the underwater world through scuba diving. A remarkable aspect of his life was his experience as a survivor of the nuclear tests in the Marshall Islands. His resilience and strength in the face of such adversity inspired all who knew him. Jeban had a strong sense of community honorably serving as a Councilman and later a Senator at Kwajalein Atoll of the Marshall Islands. He was a devout Protestant Christian, and his faith was a cornerstone of his life. He was a kind and compassionate soul who touched the lives of many. He was preceded in death by his son, Damiee Riklon.
Jeban is survived by his wife Emma deBrum-Riklon; eight children; Kathrine Riklon-Andrike, Charles Riklon, Milly Riklon-Maie, Amy Riklon-Helmi, Domingo Riklon, Koba Riklon, Edwin Riklon and Jamie Riklon-Lemae; 25 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Funeral service will begin 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2024, at 4052 North Oldwire Rd. Fayetteville, AR and conclude on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale, Arkansas.
