Obituary

Jason Lee Bowman, 49, of Springdale, died Friday, February 12, 2021. He was born July 29, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Ronald Laverne and Jo Rachelle Anders Bowman. Jason was a faithful Christian man. He was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. During his junior high and high school years he excelled in all courses and ranked sixth in his graduating class. He was an accomplished trombonist, earning All Region and All State placement 3 consecutive years including first chair in his junior and senior years of high school. He received the highest honor of the Arion Award during his senior year. Jason graduated from Springdale High School in 1990. He then attended UAMS and graduated in 1997 with a Doctorate of Pharmacy. He then worked as a Nuclear Pharmacist simultaneously for Siloam Springs Hospital, Our Pharma, and Washington Regional Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Shannon Bowman; two sons, Chase Jordan and Cameron Lee; his parents, Ronald and Jo Bowman; one sister, Kristin Immel and husband David; one brother-in-law, Bo Farley and wife Aimee; three nephews, Walker Immel, Joshua Farley, and Luke Farley; one niece, Kynlee Immel; his grandfather, Don Bowman; one half-sister, Haylee Woollard; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will begin 12 p.m. Monday, February 22, at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment at Elm Springs Cemetery . The service will be livestreamed on Robinson Avenue Church of Christ Facebook . Memorial contributions may be made to the Jason Bowman Memorial Fund, held at First Security Bank, to be used for his children's college education.
