IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jacqueline "Jackie"
Ina Oesterle
December 3, 1936 – November 16, 2025
Jacqueline "Jackie" Ina Oesterle, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on December 3, 1936, in Gowanda, New York to the late Herbert W. and Mary Jeanette (Frank) Peters. Jackie lived a life marked by quiet strength, gentle patience, and a generous heart. A long-time member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Rowland Heights, California, Jackie was known for her warm spirit and kind nature. She had a gift for making others feel cared for, never in a hurry and always ready with a listening ear or a soft smile. Above all, her greatest joy in life came from her family—especially being a mom and her four grandchildren, whom she adored deeply. Being their "Grandma Jackie" was one of her proudest and happiest roles. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Oesterle; her brother, Michael Peters; and her nephew, Sean Noonan.
Jackie is survived by her son, Mark Oesterle; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Schilling; her cherished grandchildren, Aaron, Eli, Noah, and Molley Oesterle, who will forever carry her love with them; her sister, Sandra Carr (Larry) of Rowland Heights, California; two nieces, Theresa Ann and Tracy Jeanette Noonan.
Jackie touched many lives with her kindness, patience, and unwavering love. Her memory will continue to bring comfort and inspiration to those who knew her.
There will be a private service on December 3, 2025, in honor and celebration of her life. A memorial service for family and friends will be in California at a later date. Cremations arrangements are under the direction of Heritage Funeral Home of Springdale, Arkansas.
