Herbert Haskell "Herb" Allen, 77, of Springdale, died Thursday, February 7, 2019. He was born December 29, 1941 in Slayden, Mississippi to John Henry "Peck" and Emma Mae (Bolden) Allen.

Herb moved to the area in 1994 and was an active member of Fellowship Bible Church. He, together with friend and partner, operated Catering Unlimited since 2002. Herb was a hardworking man and devoted to his family. In his earlier years he served in the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann (Parham) Allen, and son, Percy Lee Allen. He is survived by a brother, Lee Allen of Senatobia, Mississippi, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Monday, February 11, at Fellowship Bible Church in Springdale with interment at Friendship Cemetery .
