Hazel Olene Johnson, 82, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, died Saturday, October 10, 2020 at her sister's home in the Hickory Creek area after a lengthy illness. She was born February 18, 1938 in Swifton, Arkansas to Clifford Charles and Evelyn June (Riden) Jones.

Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas "J.T." Johnson in 2018, a brother, Charles Jones, and three sisters, Lorene, Caroline and Elda. She is survived by four sons, Rick, Dean, Danny and Robert Johnson; one brother, Jerry; four sisters, Lola, Bonnie, Mary and Trisha; eight grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 15, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel.
