Obituary

The Honorable H. Brent Meyers, 78, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at his home in Lowell, Arkansas surrounded by loved ones. Brent was born February 21, 1942, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Harry Fuller Meyers and Gerrie Sophia Karras Young. He was a devoted father who instilled his strongly held creed of love and loyalty in each of his five children.
After spending most of his life in Southern California, Brent moved to Arkansas where he was very active in politics. He was elected to serve as District 14 Justice of the Peace for Benton County in 2012, a position he held until the time of his death. JP Meyers was a avid gun collector, 2nd Amendment advocate, and Endowment Member of the NRA.
Brent is survived by three daughters, Tracie Meyers, Shauna Mullen, and Stefani Buhajla; two sons, Gregory and Troy Meyers; eight grandchildren, Brittainy, Megan, Travis, Tyler, Krystal, Anna, Ethan, and Hallie; three great-grandchildren, Braxton, Jaxon, and baby Charlotte on the way; one half-brother, Kraig; and honorary brother and best friend, Jim Schneider.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gerrie Young, step-father, Bob Young, and father, Hal Meyers.
A private memorial service for immediate family will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Embrace Grace Ministry at Gracepointe Church , 3000 E. McKinney St. Denton, Texas, 76209 .
