Guy Alan L'Heureux, age 67, passed away on July 24,2024 in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born on September 4,1956 in Oak Forest, Illinois to the late George and Bonnie (Barsema) L'Heureux.

Guy was a man as bright and warm as his surname implied. The French term "the happy" was a perfect fit for his sunny disposition and infectious enthusiasm. A sharp mind earned him a successful career in the complex world of data security, yet his intelligence was balanced by an unparalleled ability to connect with people. Whether sharing a laugh over a relatable anecdote or offering a sympathetic ear, Guy was a friend to all. His heart swelled with love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren, and his gentle spirit extended to the animal kingdom.

He is preceded in death by one daughter, Denise L'Heureux.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" (Menges) L'Heureux; one son, Jeffrey L'Heureux of Springdale, Arkansas; three daughters, Dawn and Bryce Holmes of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Christina L'Heureux of Springdale, Arkansas, Jenna L'Heureux and husband Christopher Wheeless of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; one sister, Lori and David Normann of Colorado; five grandchildren, Stella, Cato, Olivia, Claire, and Eli, with a host of extended family.

Services will be 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday, July 29,2024 at Rollings Hills Baptist Church in Fayetteville by the family. Cremation services are under the care of Heritage Funeral Home.
