Gary Kurtis Schwartz, age 78, died on April 3, 2023, in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born April 12, 1944, in Tampa, Florida to the late Kurtis W. and Janice (Marlene) Schwartz. Gary honorably served in the US Army. He is preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Schwartz.

He is survived by his wife, Mryna (Patton) Schwartz; two sons, Michael and his wife Maureen Schwartz of Leawood, Kansas, Mathew and his wife Jennifer Schwartz of Lawrence, Kansas; two sisters, Joanne and her husband Robert Beck of Cadiz, Kentucky, Judy Schwartz of Washington Springs, South Dakota; grandchildren, Dane Schwartz, Leighton Schwartz, Francie Schwartz and Oliver Schwartz, with a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial service to be announced at a late date.
