Felipe Alvarado age 64 passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 in Springdale.  He was born on May 17, 1959 in Juan Aldama Zacatecas, Mexico to Marie de Jesus Lira Saucedo and Lucio Alvarado Flores.  Felipe enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball. He loved listening to all kinds of country Spanish music. Felipe was known by all as an easy person to be around and a wonderful father.

He is survived by wife, Ofelia Alvardo; four children, Marco Alvardo, Rosana (Noel Barroso) Alvardo, Sergio (Teresita) Alvardo and Jorge Alvardo all of Springdale, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; one brother, Juan (Amparo) Alvardo of Rogers, Arkansas and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 with recitation of the rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at St. Raphel Catholic Church in Springdale. Committal service to follow at Elm Springs Cemetery.
