Eleanor Alice Newhouse, age 87 of Springdale, died Tuesday, March 15, 2022. She was born on April 15, 1934, in Belle Plaine, Iowa to the late Arnold Rudolph and June (Cox) Camenisch. After graduating from Brooklyn High School, she married Donald Roscoe Newhouse. They shared over 40 wonderful years of marriage before his passing on July 10, 1998. In addition to being an amazing homemaker Eleanor was a hard worker and retired after more than 35 years with Harps. During that time, she received "Employee of the Year". Eleanor never quit learning and loved passing that knowledge to her family, especially teaching her granddaughters how to cook. She was a long-time member of Cross Church in Springdale.

Eleanor is survived by four children, Sherry Newhouse Belchoff and husband Steve of Kennewick, Washington, Roy Newhouse of Springdale, Maggie Downing of Sterling, Virginia, Amy Morton of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren, Craig Belchoff, Cindy Belchoff Kennedy, Lance Newhouse, Sarah  Newhouse Russ and husband Jasper, Rachael Newhouse, Tiffany Dipboye Zgragen and husband Chad, TJ Downing, Kelsea Arevalos and husband Francisco, Katie Morton; three brothers, Don Camenisch, Robert Camenisch and wife Carol, Jim Camenisch and wife Julie; two sisters, Donna Fugate and Carroll White.

Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Friday, March 18, at Cross Church with Pastor Charlie Foster officiating.  Interment will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery . Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Church .
