The following tribute, My Mother's Poem, was written by Randall Smith:
My mother was one of a kind
She liked to tell her stories that each of you all
Has heard at least one hundred times
Now that she is gone
I sure am going to miss her phone calls
It was every morning, and every night
To make sure we were all alright
Now Mother, no more pain
Look at what you have gained
Streets of gold, and you will never have to worry
About growing old
Now you are in a place with the river of life
I can only imagine the beauty is out of sight
There with Jesus hand in hand
I know He will be leading you thru the promised land
Goodbye, Mom, you will be missed down here
But me and my two brothers
Will catch up with you in our future years
