Doyle Eugene Wright, Jr, passed away on Thursday, June 06,2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 16,1936 in Springdale, Arkansas to the late Doyle Baker Wright and Ruth Leota (Cordes) Wright. Doyle married Norma Jean Pearson on June 21,1957. Doyle proudly served his country in the US Army before embarking on a successful career as a diesel mechanic with Jones Truck Line, from which he retired in May 1986.

He was a long-time member of Faith Assembly of God in Springdale, Arkansas. Doyle had a passion for playing horseshoes, caring for his pets, fishing, and tending to his yard and garden. He also loved playing dominos and watching sports, with a special fondness for the Razorbacks. Doyle's adventurous spirit took him across the United States on his motorcycle, and he was always ready to have a good time. Above all, Doyle took immense pride in his family. He treasured every moment spent with them, his heart brimming with love and support. His legacy continues to thrive in the hearts and lives of those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Wright; six siblings, Doris Matthews, Margie Kendrick, Melvin Wright, David Wright, Ronnie Wright and Tommy Wright.

Doyle is survived by his three children, Douglas Wright and wife Sherry of Owasso, Oklahoma, Rhonda Brown and husband Steve of Springdale, Arkansas and Vicki Vaughan and husband Stevie of Springdale, Arkansas; sister, Norma Glover of Tontitown, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Michael Brown and wife Ember, April Harp and husband Nathan, Derrick Wright, Anthony Vaughan and wife Darla, and Karen Gibson and husband Nathanael; five great grandchildren, Maci Satterfield and husband Samuel, Christopher Brown, Kaili Gibson, Sofia Gibson and Kannon Chappell; one great-great grandchild, Addison Blake Satterfield; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 10,2024 at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11,2024 at the funeral home with Lead Pastor James Reine and Brother Jon Davis. Interment will be a private family affair.
