Dottie Jane Seals, age 77, of Springdale, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born on January 8, 1947 in Berryville, Arkansas to the late Josephine Kesner Thomas and Elmer Thomas. She married Johnny Lee Seals on September 19, 1970 in Huntsville, Arkansas. Dottie was a kind and compassionate person who dedicated her life to caring for others. She cherished her family and keeping her family close was paramount.

Dottie operated a successful in-home daycare. Her warm and nurturing nature created a loving environment where children thrived. In her free time, Dottie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as cooking for her family and friends. Her passion for collecting antique tea sets was well-known, and she took great pride in her beautiful collection. Dottie loved Jesus and enjoyed attending Calvary Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale, Arkansas with her family. She was preceded in death by many brothers and sisters.

Dottie is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Seals, Sr.; two daughters, Jana Franks, of Springdale, Arkansas and Christy Seals-Sluder of Farmington, Arkansas; son, Johnny Seals, Jr and his wife Lea Bilyeu-Seals of Elm Springs, Arkansas; sister, Ann Binam of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Jason (Brittany) Taylor, Kaitlan Jackson, Hailey (Taylor) Johnson, Tanner (Shannon) Seals, Hunter Seals, Cody Seals, Harley Franks and Stormi Franks; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2024 at Calvary Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. that same day with Pastor Clark Snow officiating the service. Committal service to follow at Friendship cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas.
