Dina Kay Couch, age 71, passed away on January 31, 2024 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on September 7, 1952 in Huntsville, Arkansas to the late Johnnie and Loveda (Maggard) Smith.

Dina, a woman woven into the fabric of life, left an empty thread where her vibrant spirit once shone. Laughter and game nights with family, where her playful grin could light up a room, were a cornerstone of her joy. She chased wanderlust, collecting memories like treasures and meticulously scrapbooking them, each page a testament to her adventurous soul. Dina's faith, deeply rooted in Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, guided her through life and continues to inspire those who knew and loved her. Though her absence leaves a void, Dina's spirit lives on in the echoes of laughter, the warmth of shared stories, and the vibrant colors of her memories, forever cherished by those she touched.

Dina is preceded in death by husband, Hervie Couch; brother, Jerry Smith; sister, Patsy Akers Chancellor.

She is survived by son; Johnny and wife Amy Couch of Tontitown; daughter, Kimberly and husband Rick Whedbee of Fayetteville; brothers, Rickie and wife Darcy Smith of Wesley and Marion and wife Dorothy Smith of Huntsville; honorary daughters, Shelly Akers Ford of Springdale and April Robinson of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Mason Couch, Charley Curtis, Chloe' Robinson, Jacob Whedbee, Loren Whedbee; nine great grandchildren and a host of extended family.

Visitation is 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale. Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 at Cross Church Springdale with pastor Charlie Foster officiating. Interment will be at Pinnacle Mountain Cemetery in Elkins, Arkansas.  Pallbearers are Shannon Smith, Anthony Smith, Chase Smith, Garrett Kitterman, Nick Jaskolski, Keegan Leonard.  Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Akers Jr., Rickey Joe Smith, Eddie Brenner.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Dina's name to Compassion House. Compassion House
